Streamlining an organisation or improving efficiency often lead to a significant reduction in the costs associated with the process. In today's turbulent financial environment, many companies are set to follow a path to reduce costs and become more "lean and mean". Market forces and shareholder opinions can lead a company down this path. The typical Fellow has been through at least five recessions and have been active as a senior director or vice president for three or more of them.
While theoretical knowledge of how to deal with cost reduction might be of some help, a practical hands on set of experiences that can be graphically passed on to an organisation are invaluable.
Fellows are capable of applying their judgment via significant experience in combination with the foresight that have given them a career path leading to the top of their profession. By articulating these knowledge a Fellow can coach companies in situations that would ordinarily be dangerous or at least difficult to navigate through.
